Sports Day in Maktab Sains 22nd April 2010
On Thursday, 22nd April 2010, Maktab Sains organised its sports day at Belapan Complex.the event started early in the morning when all students gather in the field to sing the national anthem and the school song and do the aerobics (hosted by Sir Izam and accompanied by some p.e teachers and year 7 students) before proceeding to the grandstand to watch the competitors fight for their own sport houses namely; Laksamana (blue), Hulubalang (Yellow), Panglima (Red) and lastly Pahlawan (Green).

The march pass event (by year 7 students led by some seniors) was the first event that took place and the first house to march was Hulubalang, followed by Panglima , then Laksamana and lastly Pahlawan.
The event is then folllowed by the official opening ceremony by the principal Yang Mulia Dk Sarimah binti Pengiran Haji Ahmad, by cutting the ribbon...(its in the first video!^^)
Then Ikrar Sukan or the Sport Pledge led by the captain of Hulubalang. Field performance took place after. It is then followed by other sports events such as 100m race, 200m race, 400m race and relay.Marks are also given to the cleanest house (at the grandstand)

overall winner= PAHLAWAN!!! obtaining a total of 39 medals.

Maktab Sains Geography Week 20th April 2010
At 2pm, situated in the school's auditorium, a talk by Dk Najibah Eradah Pengiran Hj Ahmad Mandi Al-Sufri attended by almost 300 students of Maktab Sains from year 7 to PU 2 who took Geography subject accompanied by all subject teachers was organised by the Geography department in conjunction of the school's Geography week 2010.This event was also organised commemoration of Earth Day Celebration 2010. In this event,the polar girl revealed her fascinating story of becoming the first Bruneian to set foot on the South pole.This event aims to boost the students' interest in the subject and inspires students to to be brave in facing any challenges.
