MSPSBS:
A college situated at Spg 125, Kampong Serusop, Jalan Muara, BB 4713, Negara Brunei Darussalam, close proximity to two other secondary level schools ; Sekolah Menengah Berakas and Maktab Teknik Sultan Saiful Rijal. It is a special school as only selected students are studying here. This is to meet the government’s aim to produce students with a good grounding in Science and Mathematics and to make available a pool of students that could be trained to deal with the challenges and requirements of a rapidly developing Brunei and an ever changing world. This school would provide students a conducive environment, the stimuli and the challenge for students to achieve their fullest potential.
Students are admitted at Secondary One (Year 7) and completed their Pre-University ( Sixth Form) in this school. They are selected on performance/results in the Primary Certificate of Education Examination (PSR) taken at the end of their Sixth (6th) year (Primary 6) in primary school. The best students in the Brunei-Muara District, those who obtained straight A's in all subjects, namely; Malay, English, Mathematics, Science and General Paper are offered place here. However, only citizens of Brunei Darussalam are admitted here. Many of Brunei's royal family, were taught in Maktab Sains. The Crown Princess of Brunei Darussalam, Pengiran Anak Sarah was educated there where she graduated in 2005. The Sultan's granddaughter, nephews and nieces are educated there too. Disini pelajar bersatu padu, Dari desa dan kota, Membentuk peribadi, Mengasuh fikiran, Berkorban dan berjaya. Bersinar berbakti, selama-lamanya, ke seluruh negara. Maktab Sains Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan, Gedung ilmu pengetahuan, Lambang kemajuan watan, Brunei Darussalam.
